I had lunch here with the BFF and really liked it. We arrived soon after it opened so it wasn’t crowded. The man taking care of us was quick, efficient, and friendly. I was surprised by how good the ramen was here and the nice chewy noodles! I had the chicken shoyu ramen with garlic, egg, and spice added. The spice was forgotten and I was brought chili garlic sauce. I’m not sure if this is what is normally used to spice up their ramen. There is one vegetarian ramen available and the other broths are pork based. I’d give 3-4 stars for the okonomiyaki. It was a bit dry in the middle and didn’t have a lot of flavor on its own. Other than that, this is definitely my ramen spot in Kirkland!

Great Ramen, Clean Tables, Nice Staff. This is only the second Ramen joint I have eaten at but, there is not one thing I could complain about here at Shibu Ramen! I ordered the Garlic Tonkotsu and the flavor was just right! Not too strong with salt, good amount of garlic, overall really tasty! It is a smaller restaurant, prices are expected, nice atmosphere. Would recommend and come again myself!

I had. The tonkatsu ramen here a few years ago, I think it has changed hands since. Today I ordered the Shibu ramen (kimchi) and enjoyed it very much. The broth and kimchi were the stars of this ramen bowl. They also sell canning jars of the fresh kimchi. The ramen is definitely worth trying if you’ve not had it before.

I recently had stopped in on my lunch break to grab a to-go order here and had a great experience. I asked the very kind lady at the front desk for her order recommendation and she was excited to give me details about some of their popular dishes. I went with the Tonkotsu Shoyu and was very impressed, the broth was thick and rich and the pork serving was of good size and very tender with the perfect amount of fat. Also, upon inspecting the menu I noticed that they also have a Gluten Free noodle option! This means both myself and my girlfriend can enjoy the food here, huge plus!!

Their Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen was loaded with a mound of fresh garlic which made for a very tasty meal on a chilly, dreary, rainy Saturday in Kirkland. #hithespot Our daughter enjoyed their Chicken Katsu Visited again today. 11.11.2021. Veterans Day. My Husband truly enjoyed the Shibu Ramen which was the perfect level of spicyness for him It’s now his NEW favorite I enjoyed the Chicken Ramen, our daughter went with her favorite Chicken Katsu, and our son wasted no time finishing his bowl of Tonkatsu Ramen with extra noodles. The service is excellent, fast, and friendly. Delectable lunch on another cold, wet, cloudy Seattle suburbia (Kirkland) day
